Less Videos, Less Lag. [Week of 11/12/2012]

As the title may indicate, I'm going to embed a couple fewer videos than usual, because we've all noticed the site has been a little sluggish loading up. That means I won't be spoiling you, and you'll have to click on a few more links than usual if you want to get the full POWER of the update.

Anyways I've been babysitting for seven hours, so I've got no imagination to write this. Let's just go before I embarrass myself.

Kickin' it straight off, Potato posted a couple Guild Wars 2 clips from back a few months ago when people still wanted to play that game. Featuring Dwight, Ryan, and myself [Dul ofc] in game, and Terry in call.

I put up a long Walls 1 video. Just one match, featuring myself and Bunchies from Team Mongoose, as well as a few of our pals. It was a lot of fun and was part of one of the many streams Aleckz has been hosting this past week or so [KartRider Dash, anyone?].

Terry popped out a few Chivalry videos of him playing with Aleckz, and as usual there is much shouting involved.

Adam talks about his thoughts on Black Ops 2 so far, as he's planning on popping out a few commentaries on that.

Aight enough videos for today. Fanart time, yes? ThugBandicoot is at it again, this time with a little poster-esque thing he calls "Mongeese Vs. Rogues," promoting a little rivalry between our Team's two servers: Potato's Mongoose Country and Adam's Rogue Nation. Check this thing out, and click through to leave him deviantART love.

That's all for this week, hopefully it's a bit less lag inducing. It's hard to cut down with all the awesome videos the Team has been posting as of late, but I think we should be good.

TUBE CITY Limited Edition Tee!

Sad to see Tekkit SMP and Tube City go?  So are we.  But just like with the great Skylander and Earthdweller conflict, we've just released another tee to commemorate the end of another chapter in our Survival Multiplayer adventures.  The Tube City tee features everyone's favorite Iron Golem Deputy standing guard.  But there's a catch!  This tee will be LIMITED to 50 tees (25 guys, 25 girls), and once they're gone, they're gone!  So be sure to secure yours quick.

Busybusybusybusybusy. YEAH! [Week of 10/29/2012]

I know, I know, I know. I don't want this to be a thing that I keep not doing and then apologizing for, but I've got other responsibilities. I promise you all I'm not forgetting, it's a busy-ness thing. My bedtime's in half an hour, and I've been chatting with friends all night, so we'll see if I can pump this out.

Some of the biggest news is the Team Mongoose livecast we had about a week ago. Potato uploaded it to his channel, so you can check it out right here. Feel free to watch it in parts, since it is a bit long!

On that same wavelength, we've got a chip-in going for webcams for the Team so we can do more of these in better quality! If you have a spare dollar or more hanging around, drop it in this. Every little bit helps!

Potato uploaded TWO new Team Mongoose Plays episodes, with a new game, Chivalry! These will make you roar, scream, and crack up.

The second one is disabled for embedding though, which is lame, I'll pester Potato about that ;]

MORE Team content, the SMP shifted tone to one of Vechs' Super Hostile maps, specifically Sea of Flame II.

There's been a lot of Potato-Breny love going on this week, which means you have a lot to watch from one of your favorite duos ;D They've been pumping out Temple of the Three Gods. Although I like to put both views side-by-side and watch that way, I'll just put up episodes 4 and 5 here, the first is Potato's view, and the second is Breny's.

They also fought the Wither boss together on BeastCraft, Breny's server!

Breny did something a little different this week, and put out a Mod Showcase. Here he is showing you the Farmable Diamonds mod...

Our good Mexican Ho-ho has been continuing his Spec Ops: The Line series, which is epic and should definitely be watched by ALL OF YOU!

Adam started a new Need For Speed: Most Wanted series, which is totally bangin'.

I made a few more Limbo videos, and thought of a new name for the series: "Bimbo Plays Limbo!" Super clever, I know. People have been loving the series though, so you might too ;D

Terry put up some more of his Minecraft series again, AND some more art.

And of course we can't forget Glitch, who actually made a video this week! Fighting games are his thing, so it's fun to watch him do his stuff.

In non-video news, Aleckz proposed to me and I accepted, so we're getting married.

ALSO, on behalf of all of Team Mongoose, we wish everyone affected in any way by Hurricane Sandy well. Whether you lost your house or your power, we all want you guys to be safe and sound. There isn't much we can physically do, but we can try to keep you entertained!

It is 9:10 PM. [Week of 10/8/12]

It's 9:10 PM PST on Sunday. So it counts. I did not forget, because I'm writing this, duh.

Duh.

But I didn't have any time last Sunday, so I couldn't skip this one too. This'un will include some stuff and things from last week, that way you don't feel that empty pit in your stomach anymore. I have it too. I understand.

We'll just kick it off then, with some Team Mongoose Plays Diablo III from way back [like, months ago] Potato posted early last week.

He also put out another round of Borderlands 2 with the Team.

Terry has been pumping out a lot of art, so I made a little playlist of the stuff he's made recently. You can see the most recent one right now:

 Breny has been cranking out episodes of his Hardcore, so you should check those out, but he ALSO made a great Minecraft tutorial on a little dispenser room... thing. It's hard to explain. Watch the video, learn some things.

Adam popped out another baby--I mean another TEKKIT [see, gotta keep you on your toes. I don't know if you actually read these things].

And a big thing this week was Breny and Potato starting up a new adventure map! It's called The Temple of the Three Gods, and I'll just put up Potato's perspective since Breny doesn't particularly need any help with views ;] [Click here for his though.]

Heplay put up a video about his WoW guild but please don't encourage his habit.
